Our leading Manufacturing client in the Cookstown area require a Financial Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join an strong and stable finance team who can offer the successful candidate exposure to global markets and an opportunity for career progression.

Duties will include:

• Coordination and preparation of monthly management accounts including budgets, forecast and variance analysis
• Preparation of the year-end accounts and Statutory Financial Statements
• Calculate taxes owed and prepare tax returns; submit tax returns on time and track payments or refunds (VAT, Corporation Tax and Class 1A NIC)
• Manage relationships with the Internal and External Auditors
• Understand and adhere to all financial and accounting regulations and legislation including Corporate Policies and Procedures

Candidate Requirements:

• CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified
• 2-3 years experience within Financial Accounting
• Experience in producing monthly Management Accounts
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
